More About Me....

I live in Orange, a very smalll rural area in Northeastern PA, with my amazing daughter, Hannah, and our 5 dogs. I love animals. We also have a neighbor who raises turkeys and chickens/roosters so I have them visiting me on a daily basis serenading me under my dining room window to remind me to feed them( I guess I really should not have started to feed them in the first place!)

I graduated from nursing school in 1986(this tells you how old I am) and worked mostly in the Obstetrics and NICU departments. I had to give up a very rewarding nursing career in 2004 after my second back surgery and a car accident. I then had to cope with being a stay at home mom which is very different from working outside the home on a full time basis.

Well, this gave me more time for my daughter. But good things come to an end as she started school in 2006 when she went to full day kindergarten classes. I didn't know what to do with my free time( I'm sure some moms can relate?)

I started to research working from home. I realized that there were a lot of scams out there and I was nervous about trusting the internet. Fortunately for me, I found an amazing friend in the process who showed me the right way to start a business. So, I started a gourmet home candle business with an amazing company called Scent-sations, Inc. the home of the Mia Bella Gourmet Candle and other fine products.

My candle business takes up a lot of my free time while Hannah is at school, but that is my choice. I want to create a great business with residual income so I am putting a lot of effort into becoming successful.

I like to help others, which I was able to do as an RN. But I had to find a new way to help others. Becoming a business mentor and coach offers me that opportunity. I am now helping others to achieve their own home businesses and be successful too.

Hobbies, etc.

I love crafts especially crochet and have a huge yarn stash to prove it. I love crocheting special gifts for freinds and family and love seeing their reaction to my specials gifts from the heart.
